Halloween 2011

Here is our little Bob the Builder, enjoying the post Trick-or-Treating buzz with good friends Peter Pan, Wendy & Michael. He also enjoyed helping Daddy scoop pumpkin goo out of our "Cruella de Ville" jack o'lantern.

Our Latest Adventures

Here are some pix from our September trip to Disneyland. When I asked Django what the best part of Disneyland was, he said, "Seeing Mickey Mouse!" He also loved climbing all over the cars in Toon Town and riding the Casey Jr. train!

Vacation: San Francisco

Hooray for Vacation!! Here we are in Sausalito with K's cousins Lin & Frances and Frances' husband Mark. Next, Brian & Django at the Arboretum in San Francisco, sitting on the bench dedicated to Hank Lohmann, Brian's dad, whose middle name Django shares. Then some pictures at the beach, in front of the Golden Gate Park carousel (a highlight!) and re-connecting with Joshua, Juliana, their niece Donna, Reed and Sandra. Did we really have to come home again??

Vacation: El Granada & Ukiah

We started our vacation by visiting the Santa Barbara Zoo, then made our way up to beautiful El Granada, where we stayed with friends Patricia & Ron. (That's Ron in the picture, swinging Django with me.) Django loved the stairs at Patricia and Ron's house. Then it was on to visit Peggy & Fred in Petaluma, where Django loved throwing toys down the stairs at Peggy and Fred's house. Then up to Ukiah to stay with our dear friend Katie Gibbs, where Django loved throwing things down.....oh, you get the idea. We loved splashing in Katie's swimming pool and enjoying BBQ and good wine. But Django was not going to slack off on his vacation and recruited me to help push Katie's wheelbarrow around.

Summer Fun

The perfect recipe for summer fun: Watermelon, ice cream, hugs and Humphrey Bogart movies with Daddy.

Say "Cheese!"

Django learns how to say "Cheese!" for the camera, feeds green beans to his dinosaur, and demonstrates his ongoing love affair with his toy cars.

This is why I haven't updated the blog in a long time.

Once upon a time, Django would lie still and allow us to take dozens of photos of him. Now, here is documentation of what happens when I tell Django, "Let me take a nice picture of you for your grandparents."
